Victor Cass is a multifaceted writer, podcaster, artist, and retired law enforcement officer. Victor Cass is the author of several books. His works include three novels: Love, Death and Other War Stories, Telenovela, and Black Widow Bitches. Telenovela was recognized as one of the “Top 10 Best Reviewed Books” on Living La Vida Latina, while his third novel, Black Widow Bitches, published by Golden Foothills Press, won five book awards. Biography
Victor Cass was born in Kingsville, Texas, but grew up in his hometown of Pasadena, California.
He was raised in Pasadena’s traditional Armenian neighborhood, East Washington Village, and is a graduate of John Muir High School. Cass is also an Eagle Scout from Pasadena’s historic Troop 4.
He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, awarded with honors, from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and later received a Master of Arts Degree in Military Studies-Land Warfare from American Military University in Manassas Park, Virginia.
Professional Background
In his professional career, Cass has worked as an advertising art director in New York City. He was also a decorated, veteran law enforcement officer with the Pasadena (CA) Police Department, retiring as a sergeant after 30 years and five months of service, in June 2023. His first book, a non-fiction history titled Pasadena Police Department: A Photohistory, 1877-2000, chronicles the history of his department. This was followed by his debut novel, Love, Death, and Other War Stories, which draws in part from his experiences as a street cop.
